I'm only one person, I'm only one soul,
But God has called me to help make,
His broken body whole.
He has asked me to bring,
His comfort and love,
To those in need of His tender touch.

I'm only one person, I'm only one soul,
But God has called me to help make,
His broken body whole.

He says I must give in my poverty,
And not just give in my abundance.
God says give when it hurts,
When you think you have nothing to give,
For if I can give, when I am in need,
I'll be giving Christ, while He still bleeds.

So I'll give when I'm hungry,
I'll give when I'm cold,
I'll give when I'm thirsty,
I'll give with my soul.
I'll give when I'm naked,
I'll give till I die,
I'll give and I'll give,
Till the body is whole.

Please help me, O Father,
To give as you gave,
Please help me, O Father,
To call nothing my own.
Help me give of myself,
Until I see,
It's no longer me giving,
It is only Thee.

I'm only one person,
I'm only one soul,
But God has called me,
To help make, His broken Body whole.
One Person, One Soul
One Person, One Soul
I'm only one person, I'm only one soul.
