A Sacrament of Holy Church

And very soon,
The bride and the groom,
Became One in Christ,
Together for life,
As man and wife,
A Sacrament of Holy Church.
     
You who were two, have now become One. (Phil. 2)
Strangers no more, but One in Christ.
One in body, in spirit, in soul
Remember always, Jesus Christ, who has made you whole.
Remember to do, what He asked you to do.
Go forth, as husband and wife and multiply.
Let the children come. Let the children come.
     
And very soon,
The bride and the groom,
Became One in Christ,
Together for life,
As man and wife,
A Sacrament of Holy Church.
     
O husband and wife, O children of God,
Pray with each other, love one another.
Be holy and spotless, without stain of sin, (Eph. 6)
Be the children of light, no darkness within.
You are the Body of Christ.
